Movie Screening Up Ahead…

MEISA Presents: Paul Simon's Graceland Journey — Under African Skies (April 20th 2012 at the Ohio Union in the Cartoon Room from 6 to 8pm)

Under African Skies allows Simon to address critics from the era who insisted he was wrong to work on Graceland in South Africa during the United Nations’ cultural boycott of the country — a key strategy in the fight against apartheid.

The 10-day shoot in South Africa reunites former Graceland collaborators such as Ladysmith Black Mambazo for an anniversary concert.

Music, Laughter, & Food – OSU Style

We came, we saw, we STOMPED.

So this month started off with a bang, or should I say, a STOMP — as we had a social event where we watched, listened, and laughed at people making music with things. Just so you know, it was better than we were expecting — totally worth the $0 we paid, but we definitely would have shelled out some clams to see it again. Just a quick thought — but there should be a dubstep version of STOMP called dubSTOMP.

Anyway – Read on to check out the rest of what we’re going to be up to this month!
